By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you are using our services on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind them to these Terms.

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client" or "User") and Engage Lanka, a subsidiary of Softmaster Technologies (Pvt) Ltd ("Company", "we", "our", or "us"), concerning your access to and use of engagelanka.com and all custom web design, software development, e-commerce, digital marketing, hosting, and consulting services provided by us.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, you must notify us immediately.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or used our services in a way that may cause harm to others.

Misuse of our services, including attempting to gain unauthorized access, distributing harmful software, or violating intellectual property rights, may result in legal action.

Timely project delivery depends on collaborative communication. The Client agrees to provide necessary textual content, brand assets, imagery, product catalogs, and third-party API credentials in a timely manner. Delays in providing required content may extend estimated project completion timelines.

Certain features of our services may require payment or subscription fees. By purchasing a product or service, you agree to provide accurate and complete billing information, including a valid payment method.

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. We are not responsible for errors, payment failures, or unauthorized transactions processed by these providers.

Subscription services may be billed on a recurring basis. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time according to our cancellation policy. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

• All prices are quoted in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) for domestic clients or United States Dollars (USD) / AED / GBP for international contracts.
• Standard project engagements require an initial deposit (typically 50%) prior to the commencement of design and development, with milestone or completion payments due upon staging approval before production launch.
• Ongoing hosting, SLA maintenance, and social media retainers are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis as designated in your service agreement.

Upon receipt of full payment for all project milestones:

• The Client receives 100% full ownership of all custom website source code, database architectures, graphics, and textual copy created specifically for the project.
• All domain names, hosting accounts, and third-party API subscriptions are registered directly in the Client's name or transferred immediately upon request.
• Engage Lanka reserves the right to display the completed work in its professional portfolio, case study documentation, and marketing materials, with attribution to the Client brand.

Every custom web build delivered by Engage Lanka includes a complimentary 30-day post-launch warranty period. During this window, our engineering team will resolve any technical defects, broken layouts, or bugs resulting from our development work at zero additional cost.

Every project is governed by an agreed-upon, itemized Statement of Work (SOW) or formal quotation detailing deliverables, milestone schedules, functional requirements, and investment costs.

In no event will Engage Lanka, Softmaster Technologies (Pvt) Ltd, or their respective directors, employees, or agents be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profit or data loss, arising from your use of the website or third-party cloud hosting disruptions beyond our reasonable control.

These Terms and your use of our services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Kandy or Colombo, Sri Lanka.
